Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out Major traffic on the new music front this month.. having trouble keeping up with all the albums piling up here… :p

Even if you’re not into the pop-punk that’s been getting a lot of radio airplay these days, Panic! At The Disco’s A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out is well worth checking out. My little sis put me onto them; strangely, I hadn’t heard them anywhere before. You’d think a band this energetic would be getting some airplay (at least in Vancouver.) I’m really impressed with the vocals and the guitar work… from what I’ve read, they’re on Fall Out Boy’s label, but I’d consider them a superior band (though the lead singer definitely sounds a lot like FOB’s, they have a little bit of a latin influence in there that separates the sound quite a bit.)

(And serious props to the folks at vanmega for some excellent listening suggestions. Those monthly mixtapes are awesome - thanks for putting in the time for us!)
